One Piece Pirati

- In the cover, Iron Boy Scotch from Kaido´s pirates (the guy Drake met 2 years before), attacks members of the revolution.
- All chapter about Luffy, he meets a lot a new characters, all figthers (Aohige can tell you the names sorry).
- We have warriors, a cool guy and a woman.
- At the end of the chapter Jesus Burgess appears in Corrida Colosseum, he´s defeated all his opponents.

Lucy and the Statue of Kyros
Coverart: That cyborg-ish guy from Kaido's crew is wrecking shit up on the revolutionaries on the island, Caribou watches terrified.

The Spartan guy Luffy took out was one of the star of the Colosseum, the other fights can't believe their eyes.
A guard tries to tell Luffy to leave the place since he caused a fight before the games began, but a trio of warriors come in Luffy's defense.
The Chinjao brothers (Chinjao as in the Chinese dish, Chinjao Rosu 青椒肉絲)
Don Chinjao, Xai, and Buu.

Xai is insane, he's so easily agitated, he almost snapped at Luffy for thanking him lol.
Meanwhile, Two other groups of fighters are arguing.
The King of Prodence, Elizabero the 2nd and his Strategist Dagama enters the tournament wanting the Mera Mera fruit as a weapon for their army.
Asassin duo The Funk Brothers from the neighboring country is telling them collaborating with other fighters to win is not fair.

And not present at the moment, but few others are entering the tournament including "Young Pirate Nobility" Cavendish and the crazed rookie from year ago Balto Romeo.

The first round is a Battle Royal. 550 people will compete, and only 4 will win.
They are separated in blocks. A block Battle is about to start... Luffy is block C

They take him to the armory, Luffy is excited and wears a full set of armors, helmet, sword, and shield.
Along with his beard, he looks like an old Gladiator, pretty awesome.

He comes across women falling from being smitten.... by the beauty of Cabendish, the White Horse.
He is a completely bishounen, sparkles and all. Bounty of 280 million.
He came this far without any Devil Fruit, and feels the Mera Mera is perfect for him. Very narcissistic.
He asks Luffy who he is, and Luffy accidentally answers Luffy. LOL.

Luffy corrects himself and answers Lucy.
Caben says if he really was Straw Hat Luffy, he would have to kill him right now.
He was a rookie 3 years ago when he entered the New World, and his beauty was the hot topic of the world.
But two years ago, Luffy and the other Supernovas took the world by storm, and became the hot topic.
He is jealous of their fame, and wants to destroy them all.
Luffy has no interest in his story and walks off LOL.

Luffy comes across the Statue of Kyros.
Kyros was a legendary gladiator who won 3000 battles, only took one sword slash, and was around 20 years ago.
.... Says a beautiful, scantly clad gladiator girl named Rebecca.
But the strange thing is... he is considered the greatest gladiator ever, yet no one on this island has ever seen or heard of him.
Only thing they know of Kyros comes from the plate on the statue, no one knows if he was even real.
Luffy likes the statue, and so does Rebecca.
She says she's here to take the Mera Mera no Mi, so she can finally defeat Doflamingo.
She has determination in her expression, obviously a history behind her and the flamingo man...

Meanwhile, a mysterious masked man calling himself Mr. Store defeated all other gladiators in Block A.
He takes his mask off in the Colosseum and reveal his true identity.... Black Beard Pirates Division 1 Captain, Jesus Burgess!!

Luffy recognizes him. "It's that Champion dude!"


Oh, btw, the "Fuck You" comment was from Xai, the elder brother of the Chinjao family

Oh, and Rebecca's block is D so she doesn't have to fight Luffy yet.

New One Piece Opening from 4/14 is Hands Up! by Shinzato Kouta

No, Rebecca doesn't use an axe.
She looks like a roman warrior, with a long straight sword.
Roman helmet with hawk-like face cover, a round shield, scantly bikini scale mail.
She does kinda look like Nami from what you can see of her eyes though.

To be honest when she has her face in the dark and talking about Doflamingo, kinda looks like a Mashima character LOL

Don Chinjao (don as in, Don of a family, a god father) = a large, white-bearded old man with a "12" on the left side of his head.
Xai = a brutish man with a face that looks like Diamond Jozu, has a "13" on the left side of his stomach.
Boo = a bit more decorated compared to rest of the family, long ponytail and flowing front hair as well (kinda like regent style), wears a skull-marked right shoulder guard and a cape. Skull tatoo on his left

The family trio hails from Ka no kuni. Spelled in same style as Wa no Kuni, but instead of Wa (Japan), it's Ka (flower)

According to the gladiators, they are legends.

Luffy thanks them, Sai laughs ands says he doesn't need to thank him.
Then mumbles "I don't need any thanks..." "you don't have to thank me..." "don't thank me..."
Then suddenly gets pissed, "TAKE BACK YOUR THANKS" and his brother holds him down and calms him.
Buu apologizes to Luffy, saying his brother is short-tempered and easily agited at nothing LOL

The Funk Brothers are arguing with Prodense duo.
Older brother Kelly Funk is a smaller man with star tattoos on his left shoulder.
Younger brother Bobby Funk is a massive tall man, with twin-tail beard and twin-tail hair, wearing a black hat and round sunglasses, and a tie.
The Funk brothers are not happy that the King and Strategist of Prodence are teaming up with other fighters in their block.

The Funk brothers point out that even if you ally up with others in the same block, there can only be one winner of the first round anyways.
The Prodence duo bribed other fighters in their block to lessen the herd, and accuses the Funk brothers being in the same block of bribery as well, which the brothers deny.

King Prodence looks like an unshaven brute, a stereotypical bully figure, and wearing a crown.
Dagama looks like a mole-man, you know that mechanic in Laputa? Or Dr Robotnik/Eggman?

"The Head Chopper" Slayman = Square faced, wears a tall hat with pirate skull and ornaments. Wields a blade.
Former Bounty Hunters Abudhulla & Jet = One looks like an Arabian bandit, licking his sword, other is a bald old man with glasses and a big frown.
"The Ruler" Oorombus = A stereotypical pirate with beard, pirate hat, braids, and pirate coat.
Bellamy "the Hyena" is crushing some poor sap's head with his right hand (iron claw/brain claw in wrestling), while doing his usual tongue-sticking out. He now sports a pair of shades, a large scar that runs vertical along the side of his face,

I've never seen Oda draw anyone like this but... Cavendish is a standard bishi. No really.
Really all he did was draw the standard Oda female and slap a man's body on it though.

He keeps doing that same face Nami does when she's pissed at Luffy for not listening to her, when Luffy ignores him. LOL.
He's the captain of "Beautiful Pirates", with 280 million bounty.
Seems to use a rapier sword, holds a rose in his hands, there's always sparkles coming out of him like Lieutenant Armstrong lol.

He bites a petal of the rose while talking with Luffy, in a narcissistic fasion.... then in the next panel he gulps the whole thing and eats it. Hahaha.

In Kyros statue said "Kyros, King of Oladator".

It says Gladiator. It's just faint becuase it's an embossing.

Announcer: “Oh!!”
